The Independent Electoral Commission is in charge of organizing free and fair elections. This includes fair proceedings during election day, but also voter education and maintenance of the voter register.
The mission of Uganda’s Electoral commission is: "To organise and conduct regular free and fair elections professionally, impartially, and efficiently".
