BACKGROUND
For effective operations and
maintenance of piped water schemes in rural growth centres and small urban
centres, water authorities are expected to address complaints from the
water users. There are different actors in the region involved with water. For example: the LC1 chairman, the water board responsible for the town, the operator of the water scheme, the Northern
Umbrella of Water and Sanitation (nUws) and National Water and Sewerage
Corporation (NWSC). In order to know how we can operate and maintain the water
scheme we would like to know where you would go if you have a complaint about
the water scheme in your area?
