Background
According to an
article published in the Daily Monitor on March 15th 2015,
no child will be allowed in school after June 2017 if they do not
have a national identity card.
This was said by the
Minister of Internal Affairs, General Aronda Nyakairima. He also said
that without a national identity card, nobody-no Ugandan or
foreigner-will be allowed to live in Uganda without a national
identity card.
