Would you report a case of domestic violence against a man?
Background
The Men’s Protection against Domestic Violence (MPADV) organisation was started to protect men and give counsel when they are faced with domestic violence. Reports indicate that men are facing domestic violence but do not report such cases because culture dictates that men are superior and reporting portrays them as weak. A study done by the men’s rights campaign group Parity, a charity organisation in the United Kingdom, in 2010, showed that more than 40 per cent of domestic violence victims are male.
