Do NGOs in Uganda have the power to change our country for the better?

BACKGROUND:
NGOs in Uganda declared Monday, 12th November “Black Monday”. Black Monday is a day when people wear black to mourn.
According to the NGOs children, women and men are dying of diseases, poor health care, and lack of medicine. Roads are collapsing and public assets are stolen. All because of greed!
Therefore NGOs closed their offices on Monday, dressed in black and went gathered in Lugogo with posters condemning corruption. NGOs also gave press statements which were shown on TV and heard on Radio.

NGOs have declared this week a “National Mourning Week” to mourn all the trillions of tax payer’s money that has been embezzled by government officials.
