In his re-election victory speech, the 44th President of America Barrack Obama said “the best is yet to come...” and “I believe we can keep the promise of our founders, the idea that you are willing to work hard, it does not matter where you come from or what you look like or where you love”.

Democracy in a nation of 300 million, he said, can be noisy and messy and complicated.
