The PRDP is a post-conflict recovery plan designed to eradicate poverty in Northern Uganda after more than 20 years of conflict and population displacement.

Recent investigation continue to show that more government officials were involved in embezzling money which was allocated to the Post-conflict recovery plan designed to eradicate poverty in Northern Uganda. As a result many donors have decided that they are cutting aid to Uganda with immediate effect.
