TracFM partnered with UWONET in our new program called COMMON MATTERS with the belief that this campaign will help to demystify perceptions and attitudes around the bill. Some of these myths include a ‘women only’ law, a law that encourages women to steal their husband’s property, denying men conjugal rights, etc. Therefore, the first poll question developed for this campaign focuses on what the people thought is the purpose of the Marriage and Divorce Bill.
With Over 4500 responses coming in, the poll question ran on 9 different radio stations across the country with all regions of the country being covered. 5% of the responses said they didn't know what the purpose of the Bill was, 21% claimed it was only to protect women, 35% said its about promoting divorce and lastly 39% believe its to improve the rights and well-being of families.

Together with local media partners, Trac FM identifies and formulates questions regarding public services, the survey questions are later broadcasted on radio and people send in SMS participating in the poll questions free of charge, incoming SMS reports are visualized in smart graphic designs and relayed within seconds for radio presenters to update listeners on survey results.
