TRAC FM partnered with the International University of East Africa (IUEA) to raise awareness about scholarship opportunities through an interactive radio campaign. This initiative aimed to engage students in remote and rural areas, providing them with vital scholarship information and access to opportunities at IUEA.
Campaign Activities
Radio Poll & Engagement
- A poll question was broadcasted on two radio stations—Hits FM (Fort Portal) and Radio Wa (Lira).
- 1,000-1,500 respondents participated, with an option to share contact details for further scholarship guidance.
- A follow-up phone survey (100-200 respondents) helped screen interested students for scholarship eligibility.
Talk Shows with Scholarship Holders
- Two radio talk shows featured a current IUEA scholarship holder and a local student discussing the scholarship process and the benefits of studying at IUEA.
