What This Campaign Will Do
Four live talk shows on Voice of Toro in Rutooro will bring experts, young mothers, and community leaders into open dialogue. Listeners will participate through interactive SMS polls focusing on maternal health and climate-related risks.
The campaign will collect around 6,000 poll responses plus 100 structured phone surveys, offering clear evidence on service availability, barriers faced by adolescents, and community attitudes. Findings will be shared through easy-to-read infographics and reports.
The campaign integrates messages that help households understand how climate shocks affect access to maternal and reproductive services, ensuring young mothers can continue care even in difficult conditions.
All content will be available in English and Rutooro, ensuring accessibility. Special focus will be placed on engaging girls, young women, and caregivers to shape conversations and influence community support systems.
