iTECH - Public engagement and data collection on stillbirth in Uganda

The World Health Organization says that over two million babies are stillborn each year, which has a big impact on parents and society. Trac FM, in partnership with the White Ribbon Alliance Uganda will support the iTech program by engaging various communities in Uganda and gather public opinion data on possible uptake, reservations, and preconceptions related to stillbirth.

HEPS: COVID19 Test and Treat

Trac FM is partnering with Health Equity and Policy Research (HEPS) to conduct interactive radio talk shows in Uganda aimed at dispelling myths and misconceptions surrounding COVID-19 testing and treatment, as well as increasing uptake of COVID-19 testing services in the country.

WASH and Learn

Trac FM will amplify the voices of communities through a radio campaign to gather views on the impact of the WASH and Learn program and promote evidence-based advocacy with duty bearers.

Serious Citizens Interactive Radio Campaign

From April 2022 to 2023, TRAC FM and its partners sparked crucial conversations with millions of Ugandan radio listeners, bravely addressing 3 main thematic issues: women's entrepreneurship, teenage pregnancies, and gender-based violence.

Banana Fertilizer Campaign

TRAC FM in partnership with NARO and Wageningen University ran a 2 poll question campaign on Radio west in Mbarara and Voice of Kamwenge in Kamwenge to inform and engage radio listeners on the use of fertilizers in banana plantations

Wottazela 7.0 - Powered by TRAC FM in Bundibugyo District

Wottazela 7.0 under the WASH FIRST programme raised awareness In Bundibugyo district on reducing exposure to COVID-19 at home and in communities. 4 poll questions ran on UBC radio.

Wottazela 6.0 - Powered by TRAC FM in Agago District

Wottazela 6.0 is a radio campaign that informed and engaged citizens of Agago district in Uganda in public debate on their priorities on water and sanitation. Through radio polls, this campaign collected views from thousands of radio listeners and presents them to policy makers.
